I cannot connect my FR245 music to my wifi. Even tried changing the security to WPA/WPA2-PSK.
What does the 0105 means?

Me too. Does this have something to do with the new update? Really frustrating. Now my existing Spotify music that was already on my watch doesn’t play either. Says it needs “downloads updated”. Anyone…
Simple answer - use your phone's hotspot. Connect to that and all springs into life.
This worked like a charm. Thanks.
If you go deeper in the forum you will also find issues related to Wifi routers. If you are the owner of a cheap vodafone router, your watch will not connect.,, I bought an additional small devolo wifi router, this is how it worked for me to connect to wifi while making no compromises on security level
I'm not sure what counts in as being a "cheap router", but I've tried with quite a few routers of several hundreds of euros/usd (Linksys, Netgear, Asus, Cisco...). My FR245 watch is the only device I've had this kind of a connectivity issue with, and I have a plethora of wireless gadgets.
I know there are many folks having no issues getting their Forerunner connected to a wifi. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those lucky users.
Happy to hear it worked for you
I don't think there's a chance to get it replaced as my watch is 1-year-old now. I can live with it by using my mobile phone as a hotspot with security switched off -- it's not too often I'll be updating playlists on my watch, so it's more of an annoyance rather than a major blocker. This is not the only bug, so overall, I'm not too impressed with Garmin. Despite of the issues, I like the watch; I really hope they would pay more attention to quality assurance :-/
Anyone have a solution to living in an apartment and can't control the routers security, along with not having hotspot capability on a phone? Completely frustrating buying a 245 music and not being able to use it for music.
