I bought my Forerunner 245 (no music) in May of this year and have been really happy with the product. However, a big white spot appeared recently and it has not gone away after about 5 days. The spot is even there when the watch is turned off. Is there anything I can do about this?

Same here. What is really annoying is not only that it appeared a few months after buy, but the support is so bad.
11. December 2019 into service in Singapore and I still did not get a repaired or swap…

My son's watch also started to have some lines that looks like dead pixels in more or less the same area.
I almost took it to the local Garmin shop, but after about a week it disappeared. I have a bad feeling that it'll come back next month, exactly after the 1 year warranty expires...
Same problem three years after you, so the problem wasn't fixed (I bought it less than 1 year ago).
