Battery Life / 245 (No Music)

Hello,

i got my FR 245 4 Days ago.

I use the Heart-Rate-Monitor and the Fitness-Tracker (Steps, BodyBattery, Sleep, ……) No PulseOX.

My Battery loses about 2% each Hour without any GPS Activity.

Do you have the same Problems ?? With my FR 235 i hadn't such Battery-Problems.

I am also experiencing the same thing, even worse.

Did you find a solution for your issues please?

Mine drains 10% each hour. lol. It's a brand new unit that I used only 1 week. This morning it was 100% at 7am on charging cable. At 7:40 it's 67%.

Any users experiencing battery drain on their device should start with a hard reset (holding the power button down 15 seconds) before turning it back on like normal. This is not something that should be required frequently, but it can be useful in clearing up odd one-off issues.

If this is unsuccessful, checking that you are up to date on software and removing any recently added CIQ items can be helpful as well. In general, CIQ does not cause issues, but this is meant to remove any recently added variables.

Will I lose all my widgets and custom watchfaces if I do this hard reset?

Hi,

So I have the same watch with similar settings and in one month the watch battery last only the whole week once. I did you GPS now and again outside of this week and for some odd reason this was okay. I contacted Garmin and they suggested I upgrade to a beta version and so far the watch has outlasted their own numbers. I last charged on the 6th at 17:30 via usb and I still have 40% whilst having a watch face with a moving secondhand, heartbeat and steps enabled although I haven't used GPS during this time deliberately to see if the watch would last the seven days as described.

Note that if you do upgrade the the beta version (3.10 to 3.46) the PulseOx doesn't work and if you rollback all your settings will be lost.

so I did hard reset. It appeared to stop the draining for a few days. Today it's happening again *sigh*.
