2.70 - Unable to lower volume using headphone controls

Using JBL Reflect Mini 2 - before the 2.70 update I was able to control the music volume just fine, but after updating the watch only responds to the "volume up" function. Paired the headphones with my phone and both up/down is working so it's not an issue there. Tried unpairing/pairing them with the 245M again, power cycling - no go. Anyone else having this issue?

  • yeah...got the same issue. But i had the problem already with 2.60...

  • Found the same issue with FR645M.
I only had those headphones after an update to 5.60 released ~ June 5 2019, so I can't tell if it worked before, but earlier compatibility reports didn't mention such issues.  Tried my other headsets ( Sony wi-sp500 and mdr-ZX330BT), no problems. Everything else works fine.

  • Got same issue with my B&O Beoplay E8s. Worked fine before 2.70 update.

  • I have the same issue with Plantronic BackBeat 2100, but the volume up doesn't work (vol down does). I don't remember this being an issue before 2.70

  • Same problem for me with the OnePlus Bullet Wireless 2 Bluetooth earphones.

I can skip tracks, pause-play music, and lower the volume, but the volume up is not working, no matter if I click, double click, or hold it.

  • Having the exact same issue with Using JBL Reflect Mini 2 and version 2.7

  • Same here. Worked fine with a cheap pair of Mpow Flame bluetooth headphones.

Having a similar issue Galaxy Buds -- I can't adjust the volume using the ear buds.  Other functions work as expected -- pause, play, next song, previous song -- it's just the volume that doesn't work.  When I pair the Buds with my phone, I can control the volume on the phone just fine.  But I can't adjust the volume using the Buds.  Super frustrating.

    Any known solutions to this?

Got the same issue.. earphones are way too loud, can't even wear them at the moment

  • Hello, I am having same issue with "IFROGZ IFPLGW-RDO Plugz Wireless Earbuds" recommended by Garmin with Forerunner 245 music. I can't reduce the volume, it is too loud to be used and I am using firmware 2.70. How can I get this fixed? It is a software issue because my earphones volume controls work just fine when connected to a smarphone.
