Poor battery life after 9.27 update

After 9.27 update my watch Forerunner 165 cannot hold up to 2 days battery life. Before the update my watch was running between 4-5 days.

Please add option to roll back updates!

Please resolve the issue as soon as possible!

Hi, my wifes 165 is doing exactly the same thing.. it was fine to start, but after a few months, bought brand new from Garmin store, it started to do this and can even take up to 48hrs to move from low 80’s to 100%. I took it to Garmin and they tried to say the charger lead is the problem, I wouldn’t have it, as I have a 945 and the lead works perfectly on my watch. They sent it to Garmin to test and after a month they gave us a new replacement watch as found it faulty, the new watch after two cycles is doing then same. I’ve spoken to Garmin and again they ask about the charging lead, so frustrating.. I will insist again that’s it’s not the lead, I have two and both charge my 945 in under an hour. Currently the 165 is talking about 4-5hrs. It charge quickly to 80-84% then sits there, if I unplug and plug in again, it drops 1-2%. This is a genuine watch, fully updated. So it seems to be a 165 issue. Refund or exchange for different model, I’m thinking.

HI, I am experiencing the same issue with my watch. When it is on charge, it charge quickly until it stops charging at a certain point. Lets say the watch says 86% while connected but once the charging cable is removed, it says 83 or 84%. Once connected to the charging cable, it went for example from 84 to 87%. Spoken to Garmin multiple times, either I get no response or it is a case of doing a unprompted reset. Which never solved the issue. They have replaced the watch last year (end of November) and until today, they are not willing to help. When asked if I get a refund, no response.
