Poor battery life after 9.27 update

I have recently started experiencing issues with my forerunner 165 watch. While it is on charge, it charge quickly and all of a sudden gets stuck on a certain percentage. (Lets say 82%). When I remove the cable and connect it again, it is 81% and dumps to 89%. Has anyone else experienced it? Could it be a glitch from a software issue or something else?

I am experiencing issues with my forerunner 165. I have noticed during charging, it charge quickly until a certain percentage (for example 82%) and get stuck there. Even though it shows charging, nothing happens. When I remove the charging cable, it drops (for example 81%). When I check again, it dumps from 81% to 89% percentage. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Could it be due to a glitch with software update or something else?

Any advice will be appreciated.

You must be talking about a different watch from a different manufacturer, because there is no 9.27 update, not even on any Garmin watches I know of, there is a 21.22 update though

Got it from Garmin itself. 

Then something is very wrong, or you have a counterfeit watch...we're all on version 21.22, and beta version are 22.XX

The only thing that makes any sense if you got a new watch pre-loaded with 19.27 and you need to update it as your several versions behind

So it might be the possible cause for the battery issue? Garmin gave it last year November and never experienced until recently.

Just checked and saw I have tge 21.22 version

How would I know? All I know is you're not on any software version I've heard of, try checking for updates
