Looking for garmin foot pod.
Looking for garmin foot pod.
Good luck with that
They were discontinued many years ago. You might try to look for some 3rd party clone, as there were several different models available, for example under adidas or decathlon brand…
These straps offer the same functionality as the Foot Pod
But not the same accuracy when it comes to pace.

Agree with what kochmans said. The footpod was discounted several years ago. Not sure why was it was a good little gizmo along with the Tempe. Garmin if you are listening please bring them back.
8968276 I think you will either have to go the used market (ebay?) or look for a third party one. Good luck.
While the foot pod has been discontinued we do have heart rate monitors such as the HRM-600 that tracks Running Dynamics as well as storing and forwarding activity details while not wearing the watch.
... and if the price of HRM 600 is over the budget (although on my mind the strap is well worth the higher cost), the predecessors HRM-Pro and HRM-Pro Plus can be found for less than $40, which is less than the original price of the Foot Pod ($68). These straps offer the same functionality as the Foot Pod, and have additional features in plus.
trux Can you post some links to the under $40 HRM-Pro and HRM-Pro Plus? Thank you.
I just did a quick google shopping search: hrm-pro - Search Shopping and I see some offers for $37.49, and for $40.33, but I have no idea whether the offers are genuine and honest, hence I won't post any direct links to them

Yes, a foot pod is slightly more accurate due to the mounting on the foot, vs the position on the core, but the difference is minimal, around 1%, while the difference between the standalone watch and HRM is rather 10% and more. Based on my experience, when properly calibrated, the HRM accuracy is pretty good. And if you need the best possible accuracy, it is better using Stryd than Food Pod, anyway.
Thank you.
