will HRM 600 support XC Ski power (e.g. venu x1, ..)

The HRM 600 is not compatible with the XC Ski Power, but if you want this added to include it please fill out our ideas link:

Thanks for the answer. Am in the need of a new chest strap and was deciding between hrm pro plus and 600. hrm pro it is then. Next time I need a new one there will probably be a new version anyways. 
Just would like to test XC Ski Power. Not sure yet if it is useful for me .. 

Why would you release a new strap with less features than the previous versions. Only Garmin to do this.

I was in the same situation, needed a new HRM.

I bought a HRM pro plus to have XC ski power, but I never get power, and I’m not the only one not getting it. I should’ve never mind about that, and buy latest model. 
Now to late to return the HRM, very disappointing.

HRM-PRO Plus does support XC Ski Power, though you need also a compatible watch. HRM-Pro will not record it standalone. See the list of watches supporting XC Ski Power in the following article: Cross-Country (XC) Ski Power on Garmin Watches | Garmin Customer Support
