Garmin Coach unreasonable training suggestion (training) long run just before Marathon

For the second time I'm using Garmin Run Coach to train for a Marathon race. I set up the goal and I can see the event in the calendar, in the training plan and on my device. However, the very last training suggestions are not reasonable for me.

I have a fenix 7S Sapphire Solar with up-to-date firmware.

Last year I had a ticket, but there was no solution (Garmin did not respond).

Any suggestions?

  • Same for me. I have an HM event this Sunday, have been training since April with Garmin Coach for it. So, this last week before the event it suggests runnning a one-hour or so Anaerobic run on Friday and then 1:26 long run on Saturday. I understand that I have Saturday selected as a Long Run day, but these suggestions don't make sense to me.

    I have a Forerunner 965, if it matters.
