Compatible ? Fenix 5S + HRM 200

Hi,

Is the fenix 5S compatiable with HRM 200?

If no, no need to read any further.

If yes, help required please.

Purchased the HRM 200 to sync with Fenix 5S.

The watch finds and connects to the HRM 200, but no heart rate is detected.

Troubleshooting:

Restarted watch

Unpaired/removed HRM 200 from sensors

Paired HRM 200

Ensured sensors are damp / wet

Hello,

The HRM 200 is compatible with the fenix 5S and the connection type set for the HRM 200 will need to be changed to "Open".

On the fenix 5 & 6 models, the Sensors & Accessories menu options…

Hello,

The HRM 200 is compatible with the fenix 5S and the connection type set for the HRM 200 will need to be changed to "Open".

On the fenix 5 & 6 models, the Sensors & Accessories menu options after adding the strap does not allow user configurability for the connection type to be set between "Secure" or "Open" for the type like our newer models offer, and the connection type for "Open" is the only option available.

Confirmed! Changing HRM 200 into "open" connection has resulted in detection of HR on Fenix 5S!
