HRM-SS

I found this old Garmin transmitter with "HRM-SS, ANT+" on the back amongst all my bike and run equipment. What can I use it with? It doesn't connect to my Garmin VA4. Would it be useful for Zwift or a Garmin 830 bike computer? I'm assuming I had to upgrade to a HRM-dual because this one didn't work with some of these things, but can't find any info online about the HRM-SS.

It should actually work with any ANT+ enabled device or app, as long as the strap is still functional, and has new batteries. It won't work over Bluetooth though, so unless you have an ANT+ dongle on a computer, or a ANT+ capable phone, it is unlikely it would work with Zwift. In contrary, pairing it with Edge 830 or with Vivoactive 4 should not be a problem

Thank you. The chest strap for it worked with my HRM-Dual attached. I'll try replacing the battery of the ANT+ transmitter and se if that helps.
