HRM 600 functions not compatible with Fenix 7

Are you kidding me Garmin?

You sell a brand new HRM and then don't make it compatible with one of your latest flagship models?

Selling a $160 HRM that is not compatible with a $800 watch less than 2 years old.
Because you want me to buy a $1000 watch!

Buying Polar HRM instead (and Polar, Samsung, or Apple watch in the future). Not at these prices. Garmin prices have doubled(!) the last few years, while updates plummet.

You don't care about me as customer, I am going to stop caring about you as company.

Feel free to lock the thread of this upset customer too. Keep losing customers. See how that works for you Garmin.

Might as well throw money in the sea at this rate.

Are you perhaps using it in "secure" mode and this is not supported by the Fenix 7? I have not checked, but your complaint has very little in the way of detail.

I’ve been using a Garmin Fenix 7 Pro paired with the HRM 600, and I’m noticing that some Running Dynamics metrics aren’t showing up correctly—specifically, Left/Right Balance is missing. And all Running Dynamics go away when put the watch aside. It seems the HRM does not provide extra data at all other than HR. It is really disappointing.

Are you connecting via BLE, I think I saw some other comment that it worked with BLE (yes i know this is from the HRM 200 but the HRM 600 manual refers to this)

Thanks. I agree with you. I sorted it out yesterday, it shows running dynamics when paired in secure connection. Although, interestingly I failed several times to pair in secure connection til success. This problem won’t happen if in open connection.

Just curious, how many features are missing if you use this device without the new FR970? Is it 1? Is it 10? I'm confused. Why not just go ahead and buy a different brand at the outset and save time (writing this post) and money?
