It does not show your body temperature. It shows deviation from the baseline temperature. So zero is quite possible.
The User manual to the Enduro watches says that it shows the environmental temperature during the activity. So i think its not a zero. Anytime i watched the record of running i could see the information between 21 and 28 grads. Until October 2024 it was so. Then the temperature stopped on 31° and now it is 0°. Do you have any explanation? Is other manual? Is other technology of measuring? Was a upgrade of software? Is a faulty sensor? I would like to find the answer because I donť know if it is reason to repair.
Perhaps I misunderstood something. In your first post you asked about body temperature, but now I think you actually meant ambient temperature. If it shows zero all the time, then I believe this is a reason to contact garmin support.
Thank you for the help. I'll try to contact Garmin Support centre.
The internal temperature sensor of the Garmin watches doesn’t show skin temperature and no deviation from that data’s baseline. This is done by a second temperature sensor in the Sensor package around the optical heart rate sensor.
The internal temperature sensor also doesn’t show ambient temperatur. It shows the temperature of the barometric sensor inside the watch. It is needed to compensate pressure shift because of changes of the temperature of the sensor. If you want it to show „ambient“ Temperatur, you need to take the watch of. In the old days the talked about half an hour!
If you want to record that data point nonetheless, you have to switch the sensor recording on on newer watches. It finally got turned off because people complained about accuracy. I never understood why Garmin choose to expose that data to the end user.
