External Temperature Sensors for watches? Tempe discontinued

This. I had a Tempe sensor and for $30, it was the cheapest thing made with a garmin logo. Any other similar cost alternatives now that the Temp sensor has been discontinued?

Would be good for Garmin to release a newer faster better version of the Tempe.

Such a great sensor, because you can put it where it will be unaffected by external variables, direct sunshine, body heat…

As was written before, the Ruuvi sensor is discussed here. It has no native support, only via CIQ.

The Ruuvi sensor is discussed there and may be something to look at, although it has no native support, only via CIQ.

There are still Tempes to be found online, the prices are going up though.

Since the Garmin Tempe sensor has been discontinued, a good alternative is the Ruuvi Sensor. It offers similar functionalities (temperature, humidity, pressure, motion) and is available for around the same price.
