Garmin HRM Pro Plus Sensor

In Garmin Connect it shows my device and Sensor.
I just got a HRM Pro Plus and under sensor it shows the HRM 8.9 Battery Level ok. What does the 8.9 signify?

Possibly the firmware version. My one is on firmware 8.8 but maybe there is a new firmware coming out that yours already has?
