HRM Pro Plus On?

Hi there,

I recently purchased the HRM Pro Plus and connected it to my Garmin s70 watch for my runs. I don’t get any notification or banner that my HRM is connected or on. Looking under the watch, the green OHR light is on. Is there anyway I can tell that my strap is on without going to settings and seeing it “connected”?

May be worth posting on the S70 forum also?

on my 965 there is a VERY quick banner when starting an activity, that is all.

Does you watch show GCT balance as a field under Running? I sue that as a way of checking sometimes if I'm our running and want to be sure

Im not sure if the software of the S70 was also changed as ours was at some stage to keep the OHR active with a HRM still connected (something they just gave a toggle with in the latest FY now)

Do you see the HRM listing under the activity in GC after you have saved it?

Thanks for the tip! Looks like i can turn off OHR setting when there is an HRM connected for activities. But odd that there isnt a better UI to notify users that HRM is actually connected besides going into settings...

And yes, I see it under GC after the run.
