Heart Rate Monitor (Dual)- Blue Tooth Connection Lost

Hello,

I used my Garmin HRM twice and it worked out of the box perfectly.

On the third ride, within one week of purchase, Strava on my iPhone stopped recording my HR mid-ride. After the ride, I checked my phone and it was no longer paired.

I will not pair to my iPhone, it is not sensed when looking for "other devices".

I have removed the battery and flipped to reset it via reverse polarity. No change.

I can't imagine the battery needs to be replaced.

Since it is still in warranty, should I get it replaced or is there something else I should try?

Change the battery before doing anything else

Battery changed, Bluetooth connected normally.

Not sure why I would need to replace the battery for a new device.

if it fails again, I will reply back but hopefully not!

Batteries decay over time even when not in use.

...and HRM Dual is pretty old realeased in 2019. If the battery was inside since then, the flat battery totally make sense.
