can any app record the HRM-Pro-Plus overnight for many hours?

I am having problems with my heartrate dropping below 40 overnight.

(and sometimes even below 30, it's a long-covid problem)

Yeah I know the HRM-Pro is not a medical device, blah blah but I'd like to at least try to put it to use.

The optical on my Vivosmart and Fenix is not good enough below 40

(Garmin won't even support alerts below 40 despite lifelong athletes having that all the time)

I have an android tablet next to my bed, can any app record overnight via bluetooth?

I don't care if I use up 2032 batteries, at least they are easy to change on the Plus.

Thanks for any ideas.

  • Why not to connect hrm via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet and start some tracker like strava or whatever records sport activities and then just start some basic one without gps. the same could be done on watch actually, just start 'other' without gps and  with hrm hooked up and run it overnight. at least one of these options should work
