On images, the HRM-Fit looks like it may be a simple plastic strip akin the old HRM-1, just with some extra clips, allowing to put it on any wide elastic band (NOT what it is intended for, I realize that).
The only option to see it in real life is ordering one, but it is very expensive. Maybe someone else has had a look at it and can say whether or not it is entirely plastic?
