Download data from HRM Pro

I went for a ride today wearing my HRM Pro connected to a Edge 1040. I noticed the HR on the 1040 was unchanging on 229 bpm for the entire ride and afterwards saving the activity there was no HR data at all. Now is it possible to download the HR data off the HRM Pro with the 1040 post ride as you can with a Fenix post swim? Is it possible to do it with my Fenix 7 which now has the activity but it was not used to record it?

Or is the data just gone

Worth a try but I think you’ll find that since the watch didn’t record the activity it might not be able to download the data. Try it by bringing up the activity on the watch, load it, then press top right and see if there is an option to Download HR.
