Hrm dual

Im looking to use a hrm when I'm on the boxing bag. I'm using the 235 . Will the dual be OK if the watch is nearby . Thank you

Depends on what mean by "nearby", but should be ok.

In same room but not on my wrist. Wasn't sure if I needed the pro.

The Dual does not have store and forward so would need to be close enough for the watch to continuously detect the strap - within a few feet.
