Hrm pro not counting steps (watch close by, but not in wrist)

Hi, 

When I use hrm pro and don't have the watch, fenix 7s pro, on my wrist, I can't log steps.

I exercise a lot on the treadmill, and like to put the watch in front of me, and use hrm pro for heart rate data. After syncing, I get heart rate data and other data, but not steps.

I have tried various connection methods, both watch and hrm pro connected phone, only one connected, none connected, etc.

Looking to see if this is a known issue.

Any solutions on how to start activities and sync to get steps in?

Hrm pro is connected in Garmin Connect, but it is "stuck" in synchronization and does not turn green as the watch does when it has been syn chronized.

    Any solution to this? I just got the Fenix 7X Pro and my HRM Pro+ stopped counting steps!

    Same here.. HRM Pro+ stopped counting steps today! HRM is 3 days old.. Tried everything possible and nothing works!

    ¡Tengo el mismo problema! Llevo más de un año usando HRM Pro Plus y un Fenix ​​7 Solar, sin ningún problema. Me dicen que desactive el HR monitor del reloj (¿?) cuando el problema no es el HR, sino los pasos y minutos de intensidad. Voy a volver a escribir un ticket y sino obtengo una respuesta seria, de alguien que conozca el producto, voy a devolver tanto el reloj como la banda y pasar a otra marca. Garmin no respeta sus clientes.

    April 18th, second update: After doing a hrm-pro plus reset, the problem seems to have been solved. In order to reset, place the battery with opposite poles for a few seconds and then insert it into its original position.
