On HRM-PRO which watches can display Pace and Distance/ running dynamics data

I'm trying to et a list of which watches can display Pace and Distance and running dynamic data from HRM-PRO.

Also for other watches that support Heart rate data but not additional data will running dynamic and pace data be viewable in garmin-connect app on sync or will that only happen with compatible watches too ?

I've seen different lists fr which watches are compatible some with lots more watches (but think those are just heart rate data, but they garmin site doesn't give info on what they will display

  • You'll find a complete list here:

    Only with compatible watches.

  • Thanks for that.  That helps as it shows which support running Dynamics. I’m also interested in which can show pace and distance data which the hrm-pro plus and hrm-pro can send. This is a newer feature and I believe the list of watches capable of also displaying this data is shorter, but have been unable to find a list, or will all watches that can display the dynamics data also show pace and distance data?

  • The HRM-Pro strap sends pace/distance data using the same standard ANT+ protocol that is used by foot pods. So if a watch is foot-pod compatible (and most garmin watches are - even the oldest ones), then it can receive pace data from the HRM-Pro strap.

  • When you set in you watch that distance and pace should be taken from the strap then yes, and first you need to do proper strap calibration.
Otherwise these data will be taken from GPS.
Please bear in mind that many people reported in the past that pace and distance from the strap were unreliable.

  • I set my HRM-PRO up to use pace and distance Indoors only.
