HRM Pro+ with HIIT? Not proper data.

Just got this super hyped sensor, using it in a karate session for 90 minutes, showing only 1 minute 19 sec of training? Resting time 88 minutes? It was as usual  intensive training but this sensor recording mainly rest time? Data field "Fat Burner" showed only 7 gram of fat burned during this time (usually it shows about 50 grams). So, is there a setting or activity that is optimized for indoor HIIT traing using HRM Pro+? Or is the best option just to use my old HRM-Dual with watch during training?

  • Which watch model you use?
Did you start activity on your watch before training and HRM was connected to your watch?
Did your HRM was connected whole time to watch?
If not, did you downloaded data from HRM after training?

  • I am using Fenix 6X Pro, have been using it for 4 years, still working good. Yes, started the activty just before the training and it showed that it was connected to the HRM Pro+ and I left the watch in the locker room during training.

Don't think the HRM was connected to the watch during training because distance between sensor and watch was about 30 meters... the sensor should record data anyyway? Yes, downloaded the data direct after training. Also, distance recorded during training was only about 180 meters though we was running as warm up for about 10 minutes which is about 2 kilometers.

  • Than it should work.
Maybe somebody who have more experience will give you advice.
Otherwise I think you need call Garmin support.
