HRM-Dual - Fast battery drain

I have a problem with HRM-Dual.
Original Panasonic battery lasted for 7-8 workouts, maybe 20-25 hrs of training. I measured the voltage of the battery after all, and it showed 3,01V.
After that I put in a new Duracell battery, which lasted almost the same time, maybe a few hours more. Voltage went from 3,26V to 2,98 V.
Yesterday I put in another new Duracell battery, and on the 1st workout I had a problem with not showing HRM after a while, but showing that it is connected with a device. I measured voltage at home, and it went from 3,26V to 3,14V.
HRM-Dual is under warranty, and this is my 5th device that I did receive, and with all I had the same problem.
HRM-Dual is connected with Fenix 5X, on which is Speed Sensor also connected, but I don't have any issues with it.
Not sure what to think anymore. I thought that there is a problem with a HRM-Dual, but then it is the 5th HRM-Dual with the same problem, and probably it is not likely that all 5 devices were broken.
Is Fenix 5X somehow doing excessive connection with a HRM device and drains battery in that way too fast?
I have no warranty on a Fenix 5X device anymore.
Thank you, and I appreciate any help, if someone has a similar problem.
  • Others may have had better luck.

But when I first got my HRM-Dual I put a new battery in and it only lasted a couple of weeks before it would not connect to the watch unless I put a new battery in it. I finally tossed it in the trash and bought a Polar H10 and the battery lasts for almost a year and connects every time.
