HRM pro plus doesn't show heart rate and steps for activity

Hi,

I've issues with my strap. I think it is a software bug. As I'm playing basketball, so I can't have my watch on. To track activity I put on HRM Pro Plus, start cardio activity on my watch and go play. If the watch is within range all metrics for activity is recorded fine, but not steps. If the watch is out of range all metrics are recorded including steps, heart rate and intensity, but if I try to open details of my cardio activity heart rate metrics doesn't show data (actually it shows only 1-2 minutes of hr for the beginning of activity and 1-2 minutes of hr from the end of activity - I guess this when hrm is connected to watch). The interesting thing is I can see chart for hr in general dashboard, but not for activity itself.

My strap: HRM Pro Plus (v 8.90)

Watch: Venu Sq 2 Music (v 2.53)

Software for both is up to date

Do you have any guess where I can submit a bug to Garmin developers?

Did you tried to download data from the strap from activity menu after you stopped it but not finished yet?

There is no such an option. You can either save or discard the activity.

Than not other option, you need to stay in range to have your watch and strap connected.
I have such option in my Fenix 7.

Seems that Garmin produces a lot of devices, which seems to be incompatible with each other. I got an answer that Venu Sq 2 is incompatible with HRM Pro Plus. I made feature request via garmin form and asked to cover this case. For now no answer.
