How do you prevent your HRM Pro from recording false heartrates (200 and beyond) during transport?

I don't want it to mess up my statistics but I already have multiple days in my history with a max heart rate of 220.

The problem is, the HRM Pro activates when it's moving and apparently it can measure fictitious values by just being rolled up in the bag.

Then there is the Fenix 7 that connects to sensors when using glances, being in the app menu or not leaving an activities summary after being done (usually I just hit save and then clean up, talk to people and do stuff until I check back with my watch, but the chest strap is already tugged away).

So later I have this messed up statistics with wrong max heart values before and after my activity.

What is the easiest way to prevent that? Not using the watches features (apps, glances) when traveling with the strap is out of the questions. Unpairing and repairing the strap every time I want to use it or not is also too annoying.
