HRM-Pro Plus - Ground Contact Time Balance not captured

Hi,

I am referring to the HRM-Pro Plus.

The HRM-Pro Plus was delivered this week and worn only once by running activita.
The connection with the Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar was established without any problems.

Unfortunately, the "Ground Contact Time Balance" was not recorded, only the "Ground Contact Time" was.



Could you please advise me on how I can configure my watch or the HRM-Pro Plus to record the "Ground Contact Time Balance" during running activities?

  • Are you sure the HRM-PRO was connected during the activity. As all the other running dynamics can also be watch generated (which wasnt the case before) it is less easy to establish if the HRM-PRO was actually connected just by the data.

  • as s.m.r suggested, check your connection. this is based on fr965, but im assuming it's the same:

    -pair using ant+ > when on the pre-start screen of an activity the watch gives a notification an external hr is connected, if not then it might not be paired properly > have gct balance as a data screen so you know if's working right away > begin activity then just start running.

    it may take a second or two to pick up gct balance but if it still doesn't have anything after several seconds of running, end the activity, unpair hrm then re-pair, start new run.

    Was assuming that once paring is done all data will be properly captured...
