HRM-Pro Plus Software 8.90

I saw, one of my friend, this software version, 8.9, its a beta, or exists, or just a bug, etc?

In this case, why i havent find any info from the release, also why I'm not able to upgrade it?

For me the latest software is 8.80, and no upgrade

No. 8.80 is the current version.

It’s the version that is provided on new straps. Apparently no difference to 8.8 on older straps.

My guess is that they've changed something insignificant in the strap's hardware, and that required a change in the firmware to support it.

I just got a brand new HRM-Pro (not Plus) and it has firmware 8.90

I have pro-plus new, with 8.9 but my battery Status is only: OK without icon.... why?

I second that, but I do have the Battery Icon in green with the status OK

It shows up beside the tracked activity on Garmin Connect (viewed via web browser). On the mobile app, it just shows that the Battery level is OK.
