HRM not working after battery change

Had to change the battery and now my device is no longer wokring.

Ive tried all that messing around with the battery going in the wrong way etc and just wont connect.

Anyone got any other suggestions?

Also was bought 7 months ago - whats the warranty on these things?

Is the replacement battery perhaps a Duracell? If so, read this article.

You could try first shorting the HRM to see if that wakes it up: "Try shorting the terminals for a few minutes. Easiest way is to insert the battery wrong side down, then replace it the correct way."

Are you sure that the battery itself is working? It may be in deep discharge.
