I think that my HRM-run does not work properly and I have 3 questions (connect to Fenix 6x pro, connect it to the connect app, check the battery level)

1- it is connecting to my Fenix 6x pro and I confirm that in 2 ways (in the sensors connected, and when starting a run activity I can see the dynamic screens), however the green light on my watch are still working (I read everywhere that they should stop) and I don't feel that the heart beat is more accurate actually ...

2- so I want to connect my HRM run to my Connect app, but the only option I found are the 2 HRM pro devices, so not the HRM run :( is that normal?

3- Finally I also want to check the battery level but I can not find any ways as I can not connect to the Connect app, which is what I am finding online to check the battery of your strap.

All in all, I paid so much for this device and I am not even sure it is working. Very disappointing ... but hopefully, I will get my answers here?

    1...have Garmin Pay activated ?

    2...yes normal

3...you can find battery level in Garmin Connect(sensors) after a workout or activity

3...you can find battery level on the watch in sensors about menu(wear the strap)

  • Thank you so much  Former Member for your quick reply.
    1. should Garmin Pay be activated or not? Whatever the status, which one should it be so that it works?
    2. sad (for that price ;-P )
3a. I checked past workout with HRM run on my Garmin Connect / sensors but it seems like that his data is not displayed / saved / or I can not find it. I found Running Dynamics data so I am sure that it was kind of connected
3b. I found it THANKS. It is just written OK ...

    Anyway, THANKS!

    happy & safe sporting

  • Garmin pay is deactivated ... so the "issue" is not coming from there. Any other ideas?

you are looking after the workout was started ?

if you look before the workout is started it is always green

if you look after you started the workout it should be dark unless activated Garmin Pay

  • I just did that and the green lights stay on once I started the running activity. I checked that the HRM run is properly connected. Regarding Garmin Pay: Connect / 3 dots at bottom right / Garmin Pay -> the only option I have is to click on "get started" as I never set it it up. So not sure I deactivated it. I checked online but I can not find the solution

    https://www.fitfilerepairtool.info/ (windows based)

this tool can show from which sensor the hr data was logged

  • ahhah. Very sorry it it talking so long and thank you for your help. I highly appreciate it. I am a mac user ... and this website seems very technical to me, and hence complicated / not feasible. It is a "fit file repair tool" ... what does that mean? What will this do? where? I am not sure I want to mess up with my watch ...
