HRM-PRO and Apple Watch steps

Hi guys.

I been Garmin Fenix user many years for now. Today i bought used Apple Watch 7 just for a test etc.

HRM-PRO reads steps with AW :o . AW was off my wrist ( muay thai training ). Wrist detection off, always on display on and Fitness app show 8074 steps.

DO you have Garmin Connect installed on your mobile and HRM-Pro registered in it?

Garmin Connect is isntalled but I remove HRM-PRO from GC and my phone was on locker room. far away wrom bluetooth range.

DId you also removed HRM-Pro from registered Bloetooth devices?
This behavior is as expected, HRM-Pro have memory build in and collecting data when is disconnected from device (mobile or watch) and transmitting it back after connection restore.
For sure it was your phone receiving these data not your AppleWatch.

I dindt remove form iphone settings-bluetooth. only from GC. tomorrow i will remove compleatly and test. anyway, its 5++ if hrm-pro reads steps another devices (y)

HRM-Pro doesn’t’t read it from external devices, it is it build in functionality.
I encurage you to read manual.

today i removed from settings-bluetooth. 10 round light sparring and 1.6km

Interesting, I’m not familiar with Apple Watch.
Is it possible to check what is paired with watch itself?
