HR through the roof for first mile?

Can anyone tell me what’s happening here as I can’t get to the bottom off it. Most would say it’s cadence lock. For about the first mile 185bpm when I’m just warming up, the reality being it’s about 100bpm. After a mile or so it corrects itself and no problem rest of run. The advice would be use a chest strap. Problem being it’s only a chest strap that does this. I’ve tried a Garmin HRM Pro and a Wahoo tickr and it’s happened on both. Not all the time but the majority of the time. I’ve tried wetting the chest strap and also tried using conductive ultrasound gel which hasn’t made much difference.

The problem with all this is on Garmin it messes up HR zone as it auto sets max HR and adjusts the rest based on that max, so I never enter Zone 4/5 even on intervals because the max is set too high.
