HRM Pro sensor peeling off

My HRM Pro started peeling off in the middle of the sensor after 8 months of 2-3 times a week usage only for running.

I always cleanse it with water a run.

It looks like it detaches in the middle, as it would be with a manufacturing issue.

Can it be fixed?

Will Garmin replace it in warranty?

I did and I will receive a replacement soon.

I realized my question was not exactly what I was looking for as an answer, the obvious one which you shared

I had exactly the same problem 1 week after my warranty expired. Garmin refused a replacement and I had to buy a new one. But there are multiple instances of people who seem to have been able to fix this with a fabric glue.

Also confirmed. After I received my replacements, I used „super glue“ to fix the old straps. That works and they still do their job, while the replacements are in reserve.
