Since about 2 weeks or so my HRM Run chest strap won't reconnect after standby. I need to pull out the battery and put it back in again to make it connect to the 645 non-music watch. The 1st activity gets well tracked. After a day or so the strap won't reconnect anymore. The strap is somewhat over 4 years old. I've tried to do the +30sec leave out battery and all the other things.
I wonder if it might have to do with the recent 6.90 firmware update. But then more users should be affected by such issues. Or the strap is just dying/worn out. Any idea?
I've already ordered a Polar replacement strap to have the option to replace the strap in the future but to keep the transmitter. But it would be nice to get the HRM Run working again for running dynamics.
