HRM Dual and Forerunner 55 disconnect within 1 min after connection, and dont reconnect automatically either

Hi,

I've been able to connect my HRM-dual to my Forerunner55 via the menu on the forerunner (UP>sensors&activities>etc). And for a short moment, when I have the connection menu on my smartwatch still open, it does seem to measure and show HR (looking at the app on my phone and as i'm not wearing my watch then, it must be the HRM). But the moment my Forerunner goes back to the home screen (showing time etc) the connection is lost.

I've already tried changing batteries (eventhough I bought it today), to reverse the polarity with the battery by putting it in the other way around, rebooting my watch, etc.

Do anyone have any tips or should I just return it and buy one from another brand?

The watch won't remain connected when in "watch" mode. You need to start an activity if you want the strap to be used. Connection is made within the sensors menu, but only while you are in…

The watch won't remain connected when in "watch" mode. You need to start an activity if you want the strap to be used. Connection is made within the sensors menu, but only while you are in that menu. Once you leave the menu and return to the watch face the connection is dropped.
