Running Pod Stride Data missing

  1. Recently purchased a Garmin running pod (clips to back of shorts). I pair it with my Fenix 6 Pro Solar. The stride data worked partially for first run, now doesn't. All other data such as cadence, vertical oscillation, ground contact work fine. Anyone else have this issue?
  • Does installing that also fix the issue that the GCT data is not taken from the RD Pod but from a HRM (if that has running dynamics?)

I don't know without checking the test runs I did with various HRM?

Without looking in the FIT file, which I don't think I have any way of doing for this specific purpose, how would I be able to tell where the GCT data was coming from?

  • Sorry, I was not thinking it through. You can't tell. I always see a big difference between GCT from HRM-Run and RD Pod, but that is no proof. Also I run with another watch that certainly does take data from the RD Pod, so if they differ a lot, I know for sure. Without using another device that runs a different base software, you can't tell.
