Garmin, I suggest you start having a more "eco-friendly" approach to the HRM-PRO heart rate monitor or follow the line drawn by LIVLOV with the V8 model where the sensor does not have a replaceable CR2032 battery but a charging base that makes the totally waterproof sensor and the replaceable heart rate belt when it wears out that it can no longer be used but the sensor is still good. You would reduce waste production and users would be more willing to spend their money knowing that they could make it worth much more by replacing individual components and not producing waste.
Of course LIVLOV V8 does not have the potential of HRM-PRO but why not start adopting this approach to the production of future HRM-PRO heart rate belts?
I too would be tempted to spend Euro 100 for a heart rate monitor with these charging and replacement features and the potential of the Garmin ecosystem.
