Repeat countdown timer in run mode

I want to set-up a 12 repeat countdown timer of 5mins to give me a progression run of 1 hour. What is the best way to set this up on my Fenix 6X?

Set up a custom workout with 12 x 5-minute steps perhaps?

Thanks - I think I can do it using alerts in Run Settings
