HRM-Dual connection with forerunner 45 fails while running, I checked the leds and often they are the ones that send my heartrate instead of the HRM. Any suggestions to solve this? I figured turning off the wris heart trate..

I have seen this a lot as well at times, especially at the start of runs, i have read that it is for verifying Garmin Pay... which doesn't make sense. Also it will use both and take the one that works. Or are you seeing it notify 'connected ext HR" multiple times during run? Missing respiration rate during part of the run (is helpful or checking what sensor was used possibly)?
Is it inside on treadmill? could be sensor dropout from wifi 2.4ghz... since i fixed my 2.4 to channel 1 to not overlap signal, it has been 100%!!! I used to have a lot of speed and HR dropout indoor on the trainer.
It makes sense that the watch will use both and take the one that works, but I think the HRM will be more acurrate?
I do not get a notificiation, that was the weird thing, I needed to stop, go to settings and reconnect while running.
I never run inside, loving the outside runs, so no clue about that ;)
Yesterday the HRM was connected the whole time, I hope it's fixed...
This sounds somewhat familiar to me, had something like that in the past. I think I tried removing the sensor from watch, then restarting watch, reconnecting sensor. not sure if it really helped... but the problem did seem to go away.
