I'm following trainingprograms for running with my Fenix 6 and HRM run strap, for which I need to run at certain speeds.
In the area I train my speed is often very inaccurate, plus or minus 0:30-1:00/km or sometimes even more while I know I'm just running around 5:00-5:15 my watch reads somewhere between 4:20 and 7:00. Reason is lots of trees, powerlines etc. So I was looking for a more accurate speed and after some research and advice (Youtube, local runningforum) bought a Garmin Running Dynamics Pod.
However, on the package it states the functionalitiy of the pod, and as far as I can see it's exactly the same as the dynamics from my HRM run strap (oscillation, stridelength, vertcial ratio, GCT, L/R blance, cadence).
So I'm a bit lost, is the pod going to help register a more accurate speed? Does it have any benefit over the HRM run strap?
