I’m confused over whether there’s any possibility to use a chest strap for HR while swimming with my VA4S. From what I can tell, it’s not possible for it to receive HR data while a strap is underwater as it only has ANT+ and Bluetooth. But it also is incompatible with importing HR data after a swim from the Garmin swim strap! Does this mean it’s also incompatible with the same from the Polar H10? I’m frustrated as this would mean I’ve got no way of monitoring HR and distance while open water swimming (as I’ll need to put my watch in my hat/tow float to get the GPS trace).
