Garmin 6x and Suunto HR belt, lactate threshold guided test

Hello! I have a Garmin Fenix 6x and I want to use the Lactate Threshold Guided Test. It asks for the HR belt, can I use a Suunto HR Belt, or it is mandatory to have a Garmin one?

Any HR strap that transmits HRV data reliably should work for the lactate threshold test. I never used a suunto strap, but I believe it should do just fine.
