HRM tri stop to work

My HRM tri is not working anymore, any idea? used last time yesterday, i washed it like always after 5 or 6 run in water without soap, today I put it up and I cannot connect it with my watch or bike computer (tried also new battery and to connect a new device, nothing work) shame but fortunately is still in warranty buyed 9/07/2019 and in eu is 2 year warranty. I hope that they gonna substitute it or give me the option to escange it with the new hrm pro (also if I have to pay a little of difference . any has experience with a warranty replacing asking to change product?

  • I suspect it depends upon your country's Garmin support office.  My experience with Garmin in UK has been flawless; when I had an issue with a HRM Run strap a couple of years ago (towards the end of warranty period too), I phoned them and after talking through the usual trouble shooting (new battery, different watch, etc) they immediately sent me a new one.  So your best bet is to start a support ticket with the Garmin support office in your country/region; at the very least, your claim is still valid (within warranty) if you start your support ticket before the warranty period expires.
