I have an HRM1G and a Vivoactive 4,

the HRM syncs with the watch but then stops after a couple of min.,?? any ideas will much appreciated.

    Are you running an activity? Connection to external sensors is dropped when no activity (or app) is running.

    Thanks mate That must be it, I just received it in the mail and was trying it out, no manual with it so just winging it. Will get on the elliptical later and try it again. Thanks again mate cheers!
