Garmin 910 XT & Speed sensor 2

Hello, I recently bought the new Garmin 2 Speed Sensor which I installed on my indoor bike.

The speed is working I have on my Garmin 910 XT it shows me a positive elevation despite my GPS is off.

The 910XT has a barometric altimeter, thus recording altitude even though GPS is not available.

but in hometrainer it should not have elevation or very little. For a 40 minutes bike session, I have 1000 meters of elevation

Oh, ok. So you actually mean elevation gain, not elevation per se. This can be either due to the barometer malfunctioning (like clogged barometer port hole) or changes in atmospheric pressure, although 1000 meters seems to be rather extreme for a 40 minutes period.
