Garmin HRM Run- electrode is separating from strap

The electrodes are separating from the strap (its 1.2 yo strap, being cared as recommended)- is it under warranty.

any recommendations for a glue?

What type of fabric contact glue did you use?

Yes, I agree. Garmin has swapped my belt for a new one, but the real deal breaker is the impossibility to replace the part. For such an expensive device, a 6 months lifespan is a real shame, at a time…

And how do you use it? Do you spread it across the electrode? On some parts only?

I am experiencing the same problem after a year of heavy use. I have sent Garmin support an e-mail. Maybe they will send a new one. In the meantime I am wondering if the Wahoo Tickr X would be better. It also does running dynamics etc and supports Ant+. It is also cheaper.

I have the same ony HRM pro, barely 6months and one side totally unglued, unacceptable.

Hi - is it similar to ShoeGoo clear glue? Also, how did you apply the glue - do you spread that across the electrode and/or the flap and then press them together? Or just spread across the sides?
