Treadmill run with footpod and chest hrm watch off wrist = no step towards daily goal

Hello,

I did a 10km on a treadmill, footpod and chest HRM. Thus I did get my watch off my wrist, laying on the treadmill board.

My activity was perfectly recorded, as expected, and I saw in real time the metrics on the watch.

But when I did put my watch on my wrist after the workout, I noticed that my steps (on the watchface) didn't got any new steps. I know when I have it on my wrist, I do get steps when running.

Conclusion : isn't it a bug that it doesn't count footpod steps as steps ? I mean the footpod give more accurate cadence than the watch itself during walking or running activities anyway.
