FENIX 5 issue with map activity. I have a FENIX 5 since 2017. I run 3-4 times a week in the same region/park/city. This happened to me twice since I bought the watch. I ran a 13.1 mi today (JUL-19-2020) and the map only shows 6 miles of my run. The stats are all accurate and recorded normally, but the map is missing 7 miles of my run. I use the map to study my runs etc.
My last run was JUL-17-2020, it recorded everything fine
Today's run was on the same region, path as the previous run
I did not travel/flight lately
I did wait for the "GPS Ready" message (green ring) to appear before starting my activity
Battery was more than 65% and GPS settings is the factory "GPS+GLONASS"
I read a few articles here but no solution yet. Have any of you had a solution for this?
I don't expect it to be an issue with the .fit file as the activity in the watch itself only shows 6 miles of my run on the map.
My last power cycle (turn off and on) was on JULY-15-2020
