HRM Dual Running Dynamics Capture

I love my Garmin Forerunner 235 but am now interested in getting the HMR-Dual.  The Forerunner 235 is not compatible for the running dynamics data so it looks like I would only be able to capture heart rate with my watch.  My question is, is there another way to capture the Running Dynamics data with some sort of third party app I could use or should I just get the HRM-Run?  Thanks!

    The HRM-Dual does not perform running dynamics. The HRM-Dual simply supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth for connectivity. I have the HRM-Dual and also have the Running Dynamics Pod (I started with just the RD Pod but then wanted better HR tracking on my runs); but it looks like the RD Pod is not compatible with the 235.

    The HRM-Run collects running dynamics data as well as heart rte data.

    I'm unsure of any third party app that would assist.
